The 360 approach
Our excellent tutors provide targeted support across a range of academic disciplines, ensuring our students succeed in any course they take.
At 360 Tutoring, we know that success in the classroom is defined by more than just the grade on the report card. How a student engages with the process of learning shapes them far beyond the classroom. Our tutors aim to foster a love of learning and a deep curiosity in the underlying material that will serve the student well for years to come. We strongly believe that anybody can learn anything, with time, patience, and dedication. Our students develop confidence in themselves as learners and critical thinkers and curiosity about the subjects they study. They also get A’s.

How does it work?
Typically, this program goes something like this: a family reaches out to us with a student needing extra support in a subject. 360 carefully matches the student with a tutor who can best support their needs (and who we think they will really get along with, this is key!). We then acquire all relevant coursework that the student has access to, assess their areas of strength and weakness in the subject so far, and implement a game-plan to ensure their success moving forward.
-
Who are our tutors?
Our tutors have each been carefully selected for their embodiment of our core principles: curiosity, compassion, and play. They are empathetic educators who care for and see clearly the students in front of them. We have a wide array of backgrounds on our team, from PhDs in neuroscience to academically published writers, social workers, musicians and everything in between. In addition to their individual pursuits, they are each all committed educators with a wealth of experience teaching.
-
What are sessions like?
Tutors work closely with their students in 1-1 Zoom or in-person meetings to review the information taught in class, ensuring deep comprehension of the material. Tutors may develop extracurricular study materials to reinforce more difficult concepts as necessary and provide targeted support for tests, in-class discussions, and other graded assignments.
